boy or girl?

So who thinks it is so annoying when you go to the store with your kid in pink and everyone calls them he!!!! The other day when I was shopping 4 people referred to Olivia as a he and she was wearing this! What do you think?! Does she look like a boy or girl? I mean who would dress their boy up in pink?!

Decorating cookies!

We had so much fun the other night decorating cookies! I found an easy recipe and we had already made a bunch of ornaments from the same cookies cutters (with salt dough of course which I will post pictures of later when they are all decorated) so I thought the kids needed to eat some so we made up these cookies and frosting and had a blast! For those of you who know me well you know that I hate working with flour because of the mess so this was a big step:) We had so much fun that I plan on doing this regularly! It was really messy but so much fun! I guess you can say that I am loosening up a little and it makes life so much more enjoyable, and my kids love it too!

Olivia wasn't so sure about it at first but once Jason got her going she loved it!

visiting my sisters

When Jason went hunting with Jeff a couple weekends ago I got to hang with my sister! It was alot of fun just being able to spend time together. My mom even came up to visit the grandkids before we had to go back home. Jason didn't get anything but the trip was still well worth it!

Me and my sis' Heidi ho:)

Heidi with cute little Allie

Allie zonked out! Oh so sweet....

The kiddos eating luch together, they sure love each other and love living closer!

Grandma with the 2 youngest grandkids:) She is a pro! Allie was born on May 27th and Landon on June 12th, they are less than a month apart!

The kids were so excited when grandma got to Heidi's they all sat down for a story....it made the perfect pic!

My sweet Landon!

He is starting to pay attention to the tv more, Jason took this because he was watching football with him and he was so proud that his boy was watchin' sports with him:)

Look at that tongue.......adorable huh?!

They are so precious when they sleep aren't they?!!

oh my little Olivia!

Olivia is soooo into babies right now....she has decided that she not only has to sleep with Alyssa's and Kenzie's babies but also has to have them with her when she gets out of bed. When I go and get her she proceeds to hand me all of them one by one and then her blankee! I just laugh:) She won't be a hard one to shop for! Tonight Jason taught her how to say Hello with pronouncing the L so now she goes around saying Helllllo, hellllo.....it is so cute!

Olivia is such a sweetie, she was so tired that she fell asleep at the table:)

I just love this little girl!

VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I JUST WANTED TO REMIND EVERYONE TO VOTE!!! VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!

My dear grandmother.....

My dear, sweet grandmother Rose passed away last week. I wasn't able to come out to the funeral but my mom was there and said that is was beautiful. She led a wonderful, inspiring life I could only dream of living up to:) She will be missed so much by our family but I am so thankful that she is with my grandpa once again! She has missed him terribly. I am going to miss so much just being able to sit by her bedside and talk with her. I will also miss bringing her tomato sandwhiches and chocolate! She always told me how beautiful I was and always told me what a wonderful mother I was. For some reason it was always easier to believe it coming from her because when you were around her you just felt so spiritual and loved. I will miss you grandma, but I will see you again someday...........I love you so very much.................

These pictures were taken last year when I was pregnant with Landon. Look how little Olivia was! My children always took to her right away also....I know they felt it too:)

Big saturday project!

So our big project for saturday was to rake our backyard! As you can see in the pics we had alot of leaves! I didn't think that it would be that much fun but it ended up being a blast! We bought enough rakes for the kids and one for J and then I assisted in taking pics and loading the bags! When we got piles that were big enough we took a break and played! It couldn't have been a more beautiful day to do it either and the kids had alot of energy because of their halloween candy:) By the end we had packed full 10 55 gallon black trash bags!!!! The next morning we woke up to more leaves that had fallen so we will be doing this again hopefully before it snows:)

Our backyard with all of the leaves!

J, Kenzie and Weston rakin' away:)

Olivia loved playing in the leaves!

Alyssa hard at work, she was awesome!! Great job sweetie:)

For Weston's size he handled the rake pretty good!

Then the fun began..............
kept going.....................
and going.................
and going.................
still going...................
awhhhhhhh! Alyssa had to get a picture of us!

Little Landon didn't like the leaves all that much:)

The final result!! Some of our neighbors suggested that we use these for insulation and put them up against our house......our house only has the minimal requirements for insulation and we don't know if that is enough yet, so we are seriously considering their suggestion:) Maybe once we can't feel our toes then we will get smart..............we'll see.......

Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun this year! We got to decorate our house which was fun but we can't wait until next year when we can really go all out(we are planning on getting stuff on clearance!) Jason loves dressing up and he dressed up as his pirate again this year. He even went to work and worked in it all day........he got alot of laughs! Alyssa was a vampriss, Meckenzie was a pretty nice witch, Weston was Optimus prime transformer, Olivia was an elephant, and Landon was a lobster! Me, I am just boring so I went as a plain ol' mom:) They had alot of fun trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood and we were surprised at how many kids we had come to our house! We had over 100 atleast....sometimes 20-30 at a time! It was crazy but very fun to see all of the cool costumes! Jason had to carve one of his awesome pumpkins and this year he decided to do Spongebob Squarepants, the kids loved it! It turned out really good:) Hope that you all had a happy halloween, we sure did!!!

If you can't tell, it is Spongebob Squarepants:)

My sexy J sparrow!!

Is this how Alyssa is going to look as a teenager?! Scary huh?!!! Her as a Vampriss!

Kenzie as a pretty witch! Alyssa wore this when she was 5!

Weston is under there, Optimus Prime himself!

Olivia as an elephant....Meckenzie wore this when she was her age.....wow time flys!

And our little lobster Landon!

WE LIVE, WE LAUGH, WE LOVE!
