Four generations:)

My mother's brother uncle Robert is a wonderful man and has a very big heart. I am so thankful to have been able to get to know him more since I have lived in Utah. I love you uncle Robert:)
I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting with my grandmother Rose as well. Olivia and my sister Trish came with too. We were able to get some precious pictures of all of us:)

This is my mother's mom that I love so very much. She has such a sweet spirit and I am so blessed to have her in my life. Olivia also warmed up with her very quickly and loved being by her.

ONE MORE WEEK:)

I honestly can't believe that we have been without Jason for 7 weeks already, time for us has really flown by....We get to go and pick him up from his last internship in Nebraska next friday! We are all so very excited!!! Every night that he calls he can hardly stand it. He misses us all so much and he says that time does not fly by for him because he is alone. After we pick him up we are heading to Wisconsin to interview with 3 potential jobs and to visit some of my family. It should be a very exciting trip! Jason is incredible with everything that he has accomplished and we are all so very proud of him!

Olivia and the slide:) April 6th, 2008

We got Olivia to try the slide yesterday and she loved it! She would climb up the stairs and then Wes would sit her down on her bum and she would scoot herself forward enough to come to me. She couldn't get enough of it so we kept practicing! I can't believe that she can stay sitting up:) She is a very determined little girl!

Sleepy Weston and Grandpa Joe

Grandpa had a sweet affect on Weston. He would climb onto his lap and grandpa would start tickling his face softly and before you knew it Wes was nodding off and would fall fast asleep. It became a nightly thing while we were there. He needed some grandpa time:) The girls starting catching on to this spell and wanted it done to them as well. They all love their grandpa Joe very much:)

Easter in Arizona 2008

The older kids had fun searching for the eggs on the Easter egg hunt! We did it in the backyard of Grandma and Grandpa's. It was so much fun for them and the weather was beautiful!

The Easter bunny had to make it a little more challenging for Alyssa, it took her a little longer to find hers, but once she did she was happy:)

Meckenzie couldn't wait to go and find her bucket, she found everyone's before they did because she was so excited!

Weston searched and searched and finally found where the Easter bunny hid his.

Olivia found her easter bucket! This was her very first Easter and she loved every minute of it:)

Alyssa and Grandma Roe

When we went to Arizona for spring break I got this adorable moment with Alyssa and grandma:) Alyssa is getting so big and just loves to be included with everything especially adult stuff. Grandma noticed she needed some adult time and lovingly layed with her and just chatted, it was adorable.

Alyssa's school project

This is a before and after picture of Alyssa's landform project that she did. Jason usually is the one who helps her do projects from school but because he wasn't here she was determined to do it by herself. I cooked the dough and then just helped her figure out where to put everything and she did all the rest by herself. I was so proud of her, it turned out great! Daddy wanted to see how it turned out, so here you go sweetie:)

Olivia, my pretty girl

Olivia is such a fun loving happy girl! I took this picture for Jason to show him how big she has got since he has been gone:)

Saying goodbye to daddy:( February 26th, 2008

This was the night before Jason left. We were all very emotional. Olivia was lucky and was asleep, but I am sure she wouldn't have understood what was going on. I took these pictures of the kiddos with their daddy so that I could make them each a small blanket that they could sleep with while he was gone for 2 months in Nebraska. It was a very difficult night, lots of tears but we also manage to laugh at how ridiculous we were being:) I must say, I am glad that our kids miss their daddy so much, it just shows me what a great father he is to them!

Utah Hogle Zoo

We went to the Zoo a few days before Jason left for Nebraska for school. We had such a great day together. The weather was beautiful as well!

Christmas in Arizona! 2008

Olivia's first Christmas was so fun! She got this really fun singing block and she absolutly loves it. She likes the song, "when you're happy and you know" the most, and she dances to it! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa:)

This is aunt Kristi, Jason's sister. She got the girls the dvd's high school musical 1 and 2, you can only imagine how stoked they were!
Jason's parents, my wonderful inlaws Joe and Deb! I am seriously blessed to have such wonderful inlaws, I can only sit and listen to others when they complain about there inlaws as I think inside I am so very lucky! We were only able to spend Christmas in Arizona with them because they payed for us to go. They have helped us tremendously while we have been in school and we will be forever in debt to them:)
Grandpa Joe with Weston:) Wes looks a little tired from waking up so early to see what Santa had brought him!

I got earplugs from my sweet hubby so that I don't hear him snoring when we sleep, how thoughtful:)

Jason got his Gps so that we can do geocashing and so he can take it hiking:) He was very surprized!

Weston got his Castle with knights and horses, he loved it!

Kenzie was so cute! All she asked from santa was for smooth rocks, a bird in a nest, and jewelry, and baby clothes for her babies.

Alyssa with her ripstick, she was soooooo excited!

Jason's Brother Derrick, his awesome wife Brittney, Alyssa and Kenzie!

High School Musical on Ice

My sis Trish took us to high school musical on ice in Novemer of this year! It was such a great show and of course my girls LOVED it! I appreciated it so much because being in school we don't have the money to do things like this. So it was such a nice surprise and a memory we will always cherish as one we all did together, just the girls:) She even bought them souveniers and treats! My girls were on cloud 9! Thanks soo much Trish! We love you!

Olivia, my by the book baby:)

This past year has been so fun watching Olivia get bigger. She was born on May 7th and is now almost 1 year old! She started walking a little over spring break when we were in Arizona and now ventures out on her own. She will soon be getting into everything:) She is such a fun little girl. I have to brag and say she is the best baby ever! She is a great traveler, sleeper, eater, and just is the most content child I have had. I hope that this doesn't jinx my next one......ohhhhhhh...we love that she is a part of our family!

Alyssa's and Meckenzie's first day of school

Alyssa started 3rd grade this year and Meckenzie started 1st. Alyssa loved school this year and is so excited for a new school and new friends. Kenzie is a little nervous about moving to a new place and making new friends. I am sure that both of them will love where we end up! This year flew by! Alyssa's and Kenzie's hair is alot longer now and Kenzie has lost 2 teeth! Alyssa had really progressed this year and has done alot of projects, next year I am sure there will be more:) Meckenzie reads so well and her teacher says all the time how wonderful she is as a student. We are proud of both of them!

Weston's first day of pre-school

I honestly can't believe that it has almost been a year since Wes started pre-school. Time flys! He has loved almost every minute of it. He continues to practice writing his name and loves doing puzzles. He is such a big boy. In the picture from left to right: Cory, Carson, and Weston. These are his bestest friends from the 800 court where we live!

Our 10 year anniversary dinner

Jason splurged and took me to the roof for our 10th anniversary! It is this awesome resturant in downtown Salt Lake City on the very top of the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It overlooks the salt lake temple. We had the best table as you can see and it was a perfect night. We ate a little too much because it was a buffet but that's to be expected especially when you are paying x amount of dollars to be there. Even though this temple is not the temple we got sealed in it is still the loved one by most and oldest! We will miss these opportunities when we don't live in Utah any longer, but it will always be a great memory:)

10 year picture quilt:)

I was lucky enough to have my wonderful mother in town around the time of our 10th anniversary! My original idea was to do a big frame with our pictures from when we met until now, but after talking to my mom she said that she could help me with this quilt:) I had never made a quilt before and I only had my mom here to help for 2 days....but after much thinking we decided to go for it. My mother and I make such a team and we actually got this done(not with much sleep I should add) in less than 2 days! Jason loved it and even has it in Nebraska with him while he is gone from us. It was a huge accomplishment that I could have never of done without the help of my dear sweet mother:) Thanks soo much mom, I love you!

WE LIVE, WE LAUGH, WE LOVE!
